*Re-listed due to buyer falling through* Up for sale is my beloved 2001 Ford Excursion 4×4 6.8 V10 with the invincible cloth interior. This is a clean California truck with no rust – It only sees snow and mud a few weekends a year and is always detailed and cleaned immediately afterward. The pictures show some examples of the truck’s capability and durability. This truck gets looks EVERYWHERE. If you don’t like people admiring and constantly coming up to you to talk about your truck; then this may not be for you. Well known as the biggest SUV on the planet; this particular vehicle takes that idea and expands on it. Seats 8 comfortably with a van sized trunk. Excursion is the only SUV ever built on a full heavy duty truck frame/platform and has one of the longest wheelbases of any suv. This truck is nothing short of a monster no matter who you talk to.MODIFICATIONSThe truck has TONS of upgrades and maintenance is NEVER left undone. A Large stack of receipts will come with the truck. Some of these include all 4 window motors and regulators were replaced by ford dealership with less than 30k on them.  Ford also replaced hvac heater core under the dash per the previous owners request.  Previous owner is a fireman and has connections with ford service writer – lots of preventative maintenance has been done. The front end has been face lifted to 2005 including custom paint and powdercoating on the grille headlights and front bumper pieces for a clean updated look. Aftermarket Black headlights are on it however i have a set of oem 05 excursion lights that will come with. Small, golf ball sized dent in front right passenger side of bumper. Hid headlights and fog lights help make sure there is plenty of light in front of the truck on demand. The mother of all upgrades of course is the custom built 9” Atlas leaf lift which is topped off with custom valved Fox 2.0 shocks. This is not an off the shelf kit with basic parts. This suspension lift was specifically custom assembled for this truck by Atlas springs and Fox racing suspensions; and this is evident in the supreme ride quality. With the 37” bfgoodrich all terrains have tons of tread and the 17×10 HD offset wheels with fresh gloss black powdercoat – these mods alone cost right around $8,000 worth of parts and labor. This truck can easily run 40” tires as it sits, if so desired, and this would lift the truck another 1.5”. The fun doesn’t stop there. The truck has a full sound system upgrade including 6 Infiniti door speakers, BRAND NEW JVC blue tooth head unit, and Harmann/JBL subwoofer. Sounds excellent with plenty of bass and razor sharp clarity. Head unit is blutooth compatible as well as digital remote etc. Full led interior lighting kit. 3rd row seating included. The truck has cloth which I love for its durability. Most leather/vinyl upholstered interiors have been redone or fixed after this many years. The cloth is very thick and durable and has no rips or tears and does not heat up in the sun or freeze in the snow. Weather tech all season mats throughout the whole truck. The roof has been plastidipped in a color matched shade as the original clear coat has started to get dried out. The rest of the paint is in great condition including the hood and always has layers of ceramic wax on.The truck has a full custom 3” cherry bomb vortex exhaust and brand new ca catalytic converter with custom cat guard. The sound is great – it’s definitely not too loud when you want to cruise; but it can make a little ruckus if you want to with just the flick of your right foot. Truck has an Excursion specific CARB COMPLIANT Airaid cold air intake and custom larger diameter throttle body for maximum power. All differentials have been RE-geared to suit the 37” tires so features like the odometer and speedometer work and measure as they should. MAINTENANCE As for maintenance; all maintenance has been done on time or early. Fresh oil, coil packs and spark plugs. A brand new custom built Tom Woods driveshaft was installed less than 5000 miles ago. Brand new (3k mi) all aluminum racing radiator has 50% more coolant so the truck runs nice and cool with plenty of room to get rowdy. The truck has brand new heavy duty front brakes including new calipers, drilled and slotted rotors, and performance heavy duty ceramic brake pads. Rear brakes have been serviced and lubed, plenty of pad material and rotor thickness left.  A Brand new steering box was just installed less than 1000 miles ago. All differentials have been serviced with fresh fluid. 4×4 works flawlessly.***The Pictures up now are from a recent snow trip to Mammoth; however the truck lives in sunny/dry Irvine weather and gets claybarred and ceramic waxed regularly.
