Description
Artist Moshe Murro lived 1888-1957. This menorah (or chanukiah) is built in a wheat-stalk design with eight ascending diagonal candle-holders and a stand-alone “shamash.” The Hebrew across the base is the conclusion of the first blessing reciting while lighting the menorah on Hanukkah, “lehadleek ner shel chanukah.”
